P&G Chemicals Makes Plans for Malaysian Fatty Acid Plant

MALAYSIA: Procter & Gamble Chemicals announced that contracts have been signed for the construction of a new fatty acid plant to be built by FPG Oleochemicals Sdn Bhd, its Malaysian joint venture with Felda Palm Industries Sdn. Bhd. The new unit will produce 120,000 tons a year of vegetable oil-based fatty acids at FPG’s site at Kuantan in the Malaysian state of Pahang.
